Random Group Generator How To

This guide shows how to create random groups from Quick list or saved classes, adjust the split, and show the final groups in presentation mode.

1. Choose your class

Use Quick list for the current Students page, or switch to a saved class from the selector.

2. Generate groups

Choose whether to split by number of groups or students per group, then generate a fresh grouping.

3. Present the result

Open presentation mode to show the final groups on a large screen for the class.

Quick list uses the students currently on your Students page. You can also switch to any saved class first.

Step 2

Set how the class should be split

Build groups by

Number

Size

Number of groups

This will create about 4 groups.

Generate groups

Step 3

Preview and present the result

Preview

Generate as many times as you like until you like the group mix.
