Attendance Checker
What is Attendance Checker?
A simple classroom attendance tool for teachers
Attendance Checker is a classroom attendance tool built into Class Name Spinner. It helps teachers mark students present, absent, or unmarked using the same class list and groups already set up in the app. It is designed for fast daily roll marking, grouped attendance checks, and classroom-ready organisation.
Uses your class list
Attendance Checker works with the student names you already added in Class Name Spinner, so you can use the current Students page as Quick list or switch to a saved class without rebuilding the class each time.
Works with groups and houses
Teachers can mark attendance by house, table group, team, or unassigned students using the same grouped setup already stored in the app.
Built for daily classroom use
The tool is designed for quick attendance marking, absent-student filtering, and easy exporting when teachers need a simple record.
What teachers can do with it
Why it fits this app well
- It uses the same student names already stored in the spinner.
- It makes groups and houses more useful across multiple tools.
- It keeps classroom setup in one place instead of separate apps.
- It supports practical teacher workflows beyond random selection.
- It creates a clear path for future classroom tools in the same menu.
How it works
1. Use Quick list or a saved class
Attendance Checker reads the students already created in Setup > Students, or you can switch to one of your saved classes from the selector.
2. Mark attendance
Tap student cards or use the quick controls to mark present, absent, or clear attendance.
3. Filter and group
Switch to grouped mode by house or show only absent students to focus the list.
4. Export the record
Download a CSV of names, houses, and attendance states when needed.
